Roe Abalone

Sunday mornings are usually for sleep-ins but for the past 4 weeks, I have been waking up at 5am for roe abalone fishing! What's that you ask... Well it's actually a really small abalone. You know what they say about food that comes in small sizes... small but mighty! It tastes really good, just that when fishing, you are bound to also receive many cuts and bruises from being hit by waves onto the reefs. Cleaning the abalones can also be a pain in the bum as there's lots of sand and slime and you need to make sure to get that toothbrush into the crevices as well. Here are some pics of the abalones that I caught. All 22 of em!!!
